(8/10) Sigh... Elisha, Elisha, Elisha... Some have called this film a loose remake of Risky Business. I guess I can See where they are coming from but I enjoyed this one nonetheless. The little canadian starlet that is Cutbert is simply charming in this one. I won't say that this is very high cinema but it touches the right notes where it needs to. It's a funny teen comedy with a cute star in the driving seat.

DVD Quick Review: Madonna: Drowned World Tour 2001
(8/10) I had seen this concert 3 years ago on TMN and had been very disapointed with the show. THe DVD is not the same show I saw at the time and is much moire complete and all around better in every aspect. A keeper.

DVD Quick Review: Love is a Many Stupid Thing
(5/10) It had been a little while since I had put in a Hong Kong flick. I guess when Andy from Ottopik (a local store where I buy most of my asian films) told me it was in part a parody of the Infernal Affairs trilogy, I just had to give it a try. Well the result wasn't totally satisfying. Yes there are alot of plot links between the film and the IA Trilogy but I think too much was referring to the chinese culture for it to show well through subtitles. I did laugh out loud a few times and Eric Tsang showing up as one of the main character in this parody when he is a main player in Infernal affairs is hilarious. Recommendation: Make this one a retal for a silly night.

DVD Quick Review: La grande séduction - Seducing Doctor Lewis
(8/10) Excellent little film from Québec. Very charming vith top motch acting throughout. Solid little plotline which would deserve a better rating on my scale of 1 to 10 if the ending had been a little tighter.
