DVD Quick Reviews: A few flicks from the last few weeks...
Sept 12 La face caché de la lune
8.5/10 - What a great film... a little strange to some i'm sure but Robert Lepage is a true genius. Definately one that I will rewatch soon.
Sept 14 The Exorcist
7.5/10 - Very good horror flick that seems to have stood the stand of time. Personally, I was unable to really get into the chills but the ambiance was definately at it's peak.
Sept 16 The Wiz
5.5/10 - Dated Busical staring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. Some good moments but not enough to keep my interest.
Sept 20 Star Wars Trilogy Extras Disk
8.5/10 - What to say... Very well done DVD with a good collection of Extras. Only complaint would be that I still think that they are holding back on some Jucy Extras for an Ultimate Set once the 1st Trilogy is complete.
Sept 22 Clerks
9/10 - I've said it before, I never miss a chance to show someone this great little comedy. This time around, my friend Amanda had never seen it.
Sept 25 Spiderman 2
8/10 - OK, i'm a sucker for screen versons of comic book characters but the Spiderman legacy has not failed thus far... Excellent sequel that will surely lead to many more.
Sept 27 Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
8.5/10 - A hauning film that struck a cord in me. I have to see this one again. Very powerful film in my book based on a brilliant screenplay.
Oct 3 Van Helsing
7.5/10 - Good monster flick. Cool angle on Dracula, Frankenstein and Warewolf lore.

6/10 - Okay sequel to the classic. Did not do it for me though.

9/10 - View Askew folks sure know how to put a DVD set together. Thanks Kevin and the gang. A winner. One of the nicest dvd sets out there.

9/10 - THis shall be called the year of the documentary. Very funny doc that will leave it's mark on you.
Oct 15 Duran Duran: Astronaut
7/10 - Bonus DVD from the excellent new CD release by Duran Duran. A cool Documentary on the band plus a few live tracks.

8/10 - Funny film for horror fans. I liked it alot and laughed and laughed but it scared my good friend Joelle.
Oct 16 Kylie Minogue: Fever 2002
8/10 - Great Pop Diva concert that made me fall in love with Kylie. Kylie, will you marry me?
Oct 17 Shrek 2
8.5/10 - Solid empire that hopefully will never lose it's charm. Excellent Sequel.
Oct 18 The Frog Prince
5/10 - Shelly Duvall presents... i had never seen these 80s tales. Cute.
Oct 21 Les Invasions Barbarre
7/10 - Did not touch me as much as I thought it would. Strange as I am a very big fan of Denys Arcan. Rewatching it is on my to do list.
Ocr 24 The Bourne Identity
7.5/10 - hard to believe that I missed this when it first came out. Solid story based on a Ludlum novel.
